Every Delaware LLC and corporation must keep a registered agent. Here is what that means, and what we do.
What a registered agent does
A registered agent is the person or company that receives legal papers and official state notices on behalf of your company. In Delaware the agent must have a physical address in the state and be available there during business hours.
What it is not
The registered agent’s address is for legal and government notices only. It is not your office, and it is not the address where you receive everyday mail. Banks and the IRS write to the business address you give them, which is a separate thing.
What is included
Every package includes a registered agent for your company. Notices received on your behalf are passed on to you.
